CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2019: Entry Timing Revision; all that you must know
Bhubaneswar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has come up with some new norms related to the entry of students into the examination halls during the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams.
As per reports, there will be no late entry for students into exam hall from 2019, preventing students from reaching late to the exam centers.
Such step of CBSE is seen as a competitive type examination like Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), Common Admission Test (CAT) and others.
However, the new norm for 2019 Board exams, will make students to report at the examination centers by 10:15 am.
CBSE has taken such decision to make the examination more secured, India Today reported.
Speaking on the issue, a MHRD source said, “Exams like JEE or NEET and even CAT are secured for a number of reasons and one of them is strict entry timings. No student is allowed beyond the stipulated timing.”
The Board will issue a circular for strict compliance of the entry timing and the centre supervisors will be accountable for its implementation, a senior ministry official told Times of India.
